School Calendar

Classes begin in January, May or September. There are a variety of program scheduling options. CCMT offers morning, afternoon, evening, modified weekend and full day classes. The number of class days attended each week varies according to program and section.

There are usually four program sections available each term in Newington, two in Westport and one or two in Groton. The programs offered and the section schedules change on a rotating basis.

The CCMT school year is divided into three terms. Each term is approximately thirteen weeks long. When class cancellations are necessary, they are generally made up at the end of the term on days designated as such on the school calendar.

A school calendar that lists the dates classes begin and end for the next three terms may be obtained from the CCMT Admissions office. There are breaks of 2-5 weeks between each term. The following days are official school holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the day after, and Christmas Day.
